Insane Idea for 10 Insane Gigs

December 7, 2006 by ehab

I just checked out Donncha’s Post where he claimed that some of us were running short of space. I am not the kind who would burden wordpress.com with images that mean almost nothing. I use photobucket in most cases, for my other blog over here at WP, which has a PR of 6.

But hey, if my uncle Tom or aunt Sally bought me 10 gigs, I would sure use it ! Head over to Donncha’s Post to find what others have to say about it. Here is how I would use it.
To commit this sin, you must first have the following things :

- A video camera ( web-cam will work as well )
- A computer ( oh ! ) and internet connection
- And perhaps the 10 gigs of space to work on

Everymorning, sit infront of your camera for 2/3 minutes and speak out your day plan. Save it in a reasonable format and upload it in your wordpress account. You can post it here and password protect it if you want to keep things privat.

Same at night, sit infront of the camera and speak up about the things you did. Record n Upload ( Press it ! )

Now, I know this might sound a little crazy but I saw this chap from My Opera community once, who was weird/good enough to snap a shot of him over the past 10 or more years. All you need for this is a little motivation.

How nice it would be to scroll the archieves and check your plans out 3, 4 or even 5 years back !

I can suggest you a nifty little method of keeping a reminder of this great task by printing something commanding in bright ( red ) bold letters on a A4 size paper and sticking over your desk.

You might miss a day or two, but hey – it doesn’t matter much ! Adding it all up :

“You should use that extra space to record yourself over a long period of time”

Not the last Friday.

November 24, 2006 by ehab

So i did meet her. Wasnt the last friday, as I promised it would be. I told her I would meet her in the last friday of this year. Failed to fullfill that. Went for a stroll in ChobiMela. The place was beautiful and for the first time I realized that French people arent that bad at all.

Some of the photos i saw today were plainfully beautiful and i longed to take a shot with my cam. Too bad, the fat women didn’t allow that. Sucks.

Earlier today,  I played Fifa 2006 at Faisal’s house with Shiny, Alu and Rishan. It was fun, but I was hoping to play Fifa 2007, which is much better from all the aspects.

I need to meet Mithu bhai who promised some data entry project soon. I need to call another guy, who needs a little tweak with his SEO. I wish everyone used WordPress.com blogs. Never have I seen such graceful and perfect SEO. I need to put one of those I Love WordPress tags in my sidebar : ) ..

Some progress alas !

Alas, after about 5 months of some work, I have managed to get about 300 unique hits daily on my news blog. Now I know what my readers want and I can provide feedback on them. Thanks to the guys at WordPress.com for giving us such a free service !

Telephone Calls and me

November 22, 2006 by ehab

It is not my fault, but I feel extremely bored talking to people on the phone, except for a very few number of people, most people – fail to provoke me to open my mouth and say something. I cant help it, it is not my fault.

How would you like to respond to a same question over and over again ? And if That question itself, is a very vague one ? Here is a log of how it is like, usually.

Caller : Arre dost ki khobor..

Me : Eito bhalo.. tor ki khobor, onek din por…

Caller : Ha asi kono rokom.. tarpor..

Me : Hmm ei to .. class chole.. hmm

Caller : Hmm .. *silence* … tarpor ar ki khobor ?

Me : * Silence *  Hmm ..

Caller : *Silence*

Me : Acha shun, tahole ami pore call korbone ..

Caller : Acha dost. .rakhi tahole.
Yes, very annoying indeed. Atleast, from my part it is !

Blockade and my days are dark !

November 22, 2006 by ehab

Its been almost 2 weeks now, these blockades have turned into regular things. I would not discuss the affects that it put on our country, Angelmorn does that.

Here are some harm that these blockades do to me:

  • Costs me about 100 (taka) more to travel around the city.
  • No classes – which mean, no juicy education for me.
  • The streets are filled with sad, motionless folks – who would jump on you if they like.

In the past two days I have got more trouble on my shoulders, which I hate. Once, I borrowed a set of Drums from a good freind ( we lived in Saudi Arabia together ) to practise at home. I soon got bored of it and it was left rotten in the attic. TJ bhai took the kick pedal and a snare long time back, as I remember. Now, my good freind wants them back and I would have to call up TJ bhai and ask them back..  So much demotivating indeed.

Hello world!

However nice or strange it might look. This would be my personal blog, where I would write on several things including daily torture, studies, sports and ofcourse photography. I do not expect much readers here, just a couple of my freinds.
